Oxford UMC will participate in Oxford’s Downtown Trick-or-Treating candy stroll and will pass out candy on October 31 from 3:30-5:00 pm. Volunteers are welcome and candy donations are appreciated. Contact the church office at 919-693-4091 for more information.

Women’s Study: “Be Bold: Finding Your Fierce” by Rachel Billups. All women are invited to participate in this study. We’ll meet from 6-7  PM on Wednesdays (October 23-November 20)  in the conference room.  Books are available in the fellowship hall.

Operation Christmas Child Challenge! The Lydia Circle is challenging all Sunday School classes to fill 5 boxes  for OCC. The deadline is November 3rd.

Help is  needed for a most important ministry delivering and administering communion to those unable to attend worship. A short training session will increase your comfort level. Please see Pastor Jenny if you are interested.

ACIM is in need of can food donations. OUMC has collection bins at the missions center and in the education bldg. All donated items will be delivered to ACIM.

The Dorothy Circle will meet Wednesday, November 6th at 10am in the Conference Room.

Penn Avenue Food Ministry – Sante Fe Tobacco will prepare food in our kitchen on Thurs., November 14th & Fri., November 15th. If you are interested in volunteering in the mission please review and sign up in the Penn Avenue Food Ministry book located at the Missions center at the entrance of the Lyon Bldg. or contact Phil and LaVerne Pope to volunteer or inquire(Lpope53@gmail.com; 919-690-4720).
