Worship is an integral part of Christian life at Oxford United Methodist. God is praised; God’s Word is read and proclaimed; and God’s love, comfort and grace is made new through Holy Communion. Worshipers are charged to go forth and live as believers in Christ. Oxford United Methodist offers two worship services on Sunday morning. Both include inspiring music, thought-provoking Scripture-based sermons, and warm Christian fellowship as we come together to worship the
Also the Christian Year is observed in both services, and special seasonal services are offered during Advent, Lent, and Holy Week. The aim of our worship is that we come apart from the world to worship, and then return to the world for service and witness. Occasionally on 5th Sundays the two worship services will be combined at 11:00 am for the entire congregation to worship together.
